The DWRC fell 47-10 to Brown in the first match of the Ivy League Final Four Tournament in Providence, RI. Brown's aggressive and organized defense limited scoring opportunities for the Big Green and their rucking skills prevented the DWRC from developing consecutive offensive phases. The Dartmouth defense struggled to contain Brown's strong runners in the first half but showed great improvement in the second half - the first half ended at 37-0 while the second half was tied 10-10.
On Sunday, Dartmouth defeated Harvard 20-12 in a contentious second match of the Ivy League Final Four Tournament. The DWRC came to the field ready to play and opened strongly to put three tries on the board before the end of the first half but Harvard's tenacity challenged Dartmouth and the Big Green found itself flagging in the middle of the match. However, Dartmouth maintained a good defense and showcased strong scrums to come out on top after an aggressive 80 minutes.
